If you look at what you have written towards the end you will see that you have got two of the families intertwined.
It should read : 4 : JOHN Kinghorn b:1820 m: Margaret Aitkin
Family: ? Kinghorn b: 1844 - * Alexander b: 1846 -William b: 1847 - Jean b: 1848 - Isabella b: 1851 - Ann b:1855 -John b: 1855 - John b: 1857- George b:1861 – Margaret b: 1864 – Adam b:1867 – Maggie b: 1869

ALEXANDER b: 1846 m: Isabella Mackie
Family : David b: 1870 – John b: 19 Feb.1873 Margaret Jane b:1875 - Gordon Stewart b: 1880 . I don’t know if this couple had any more children but this is what I have recorded.

This is my family line also but through John’s b: 1820 brother ALEXANDER b: 1814 to ADAM Kinghorn & JEAN Cocker
