Hello Ellen,
On my recent trip to Scotland I was very interested in purchasing a kilt. I started researching tartans for our name. The information that I was able to obtain suggests that we are to wear the "Duke of Fife"-(Modern). I looked everywhere in Edinburgh for a shop with this tartan. What I discovered is that it is a rare tartan. I found one kilt makers shop who happened to have a kilt that was about to be sent to Austrelia to a Kinghorn. The man at the store was the first to know exactely our tartan when I told him my name.. he said the kilt he had in the store that day had been special ordered and he normaly only saw this tartan once a year or so. I happened into the store on the one day it was there and it was to be shipped out the next day. I took a few pictures and have them and would be happy to share.. email me and I will send you a photo mdkinghorn@cableone.net
