I was born in Idaho Falls, ID, but I am not a direct lineage to the Kinghorn family. Only by marriage.

My husband is Alexander Douglas Mowbray III, and we are told this name traces back 13 generations. But we have never tried to look. We have a son Alexander Kinghorn (13 yrs). My husband's father is Alexander D.M. Kinghorn, born in Cuba then moved to Puerto Rico and now Miami, FL. His father, my son's great-grandfather was born in Scotland and married a woman (Anna?) and then moved to Cuba. They say he was a radio broadcaster and owned a factory in Cuba before they left and moved to Puerto Rico. My son's great-grandfather had two children. The boy is my son's grandfather and there was a girl, who died young.
