Gordon - how amazing! how extraordinary! This is something that I've wanted to do for years... I've made a start of it, but never got very far.

I am a descendent of Lewis (through Robert Hills Kingman, then Roberta Hills Kingman, my mother).

Thirteen years ago, I visited the original house on Summer Street in (now) Brockton, MA (see http://geocities.com/gordon_b_kingman/graphics/Number01.gif and http://geocities.com/gordon_b_kingman/graphics/Number05.gif). It was still there, though it had been subdivided into apartments. Still... the sense of history was really interesting. I walked around to see if I could spot some of the locations that he'd described having grown up around, and I did find a stone wall that looked very old.

Thank you so much for your work on this! I will send a link to your information to my family, who will be so pleased.
