Nobody has as yet been able to find any of Henry's ancestors. Most accounts say he was from Frome, Somerset, England as were many of the "Hull" party. Some years ago my niece did some looking around in England, and found lots of Kingmans but no direct reference to Henry. Also, his wife Joanne's name Drake has not been verified as far as I know. I hope to find possibly a college student in the area to do some research (for a fee of course) and see what can be found. I have one contact in the UK who has not been responsive so far. Another interesting line in the Holbrooks who intermarried with Kingmans. Thomas Holbrook is listed on the same "Bound for New England" list of the unnamed ship that left Weymouth on Mar 20, 1635. Also, descendants Lewis Kingman and Henry Holbrook were railroad construction engineers and were responsible for the towns of Kingman, AZ and Holbrook, AZ. Most interesting. Let me know your thought. Keep up the good work.
Edward Kingman
