No, I have not used the werelate website. I hadn't even heard of it. You can use anything I've posted, but your best source right now is Jacobus and Brainard. I disagree with one thing Brainard said; he attributed the stone fort at Black Rock to Thomas Sr. I believe it was built by Lt. Wheelr, not his half brother, based on the opinion Charles Brilvitch. The 1930 history of the Wheelers by William Wheeler, "Black Rock: Seaport of Old Fairfield, Connecticut 1644-1870" mixed up information that has yet to be completely sorted out.
