I believe there is a person trying to gather investors to renovate King Philips Stockade and turn it into an education center and Indian information/guest center. I think how fabulous, what a lovely piece of land just sitting there up over the river. Springfield did do over the entrance to the park, trying to drum up interest, but the gates stay locked now because they did not create any interest in the place other than a new driveway and security entrance. The city is poorly run, therefore the parks and tourism suffers.
I hope the gentleman succeeds, especially from the Longmeadow side of view.
