Myancestors founded Simsbury CT; a brief line in the book King Phillip's War by Eric B Schultz states that Simsbury was first abandoned then burned by the Native Americans. I cannot find any details. Was it rebuilt? I have some references in my genealogical material that returning settlers moved over the ridge and built there.
