Thanks Dan. I have read quite a bit about that War and find it rather bad times for those not prepared. John Read, jr's grave stone along with his wife's still exist in the Newman Cemetery in Hartford, Conn. an area which used to be in Mass. and was near Rehoboth, Bristol County, Mass.
