Barnstable, Yarmouth

I am researching some ancestors who lived in Yarmouth and Barnstable during King Phillip's War. Is there anyone here who can tell me what the effect of the ar was in those places? I understand that the Nauset near Barnstable remained neutral, although it didn't do them much good in the end, but that's about the only reference I've come across. Anyone know more?
