Hi John,
No, this Charles Kingsolver is the grandson of Charles Consolver of the Revolutionary War. My Charles Kingsolver is the son of Jonathan Consolver who is the son of Charles Consolver of the Revolutionary War who died at the Battle of Cowpens, although Jonathan served in the Revolution as well at the Battle of Waxhaws. I am in the beginning stages of this research, but do know that the Charles Consolver your asking about had four children, Jonathan, James, Martin and Micajah. Would be happy to share what I have at this time though. Email me direct if interested.
