No, you have the right King William. William of Orange was basically at war with the French and the only way he could get a real navy ( British Navy) was by taking Great Britain (not England!!!) from James 11 & V11 this enterprise was financed by the Pope which is a fact obscured by the idiots of both sides in Northern Ireland. Count Wallenberg and his Dragoons from Netherlands along with just about every other nation in Europe opposed to the French took part. There was a Swedish troop as well.
