Hi Jack,
I was wondering if you might be able to help me with some info from this book you read. I have been trying to find some info on a man named Samuel Holt, We are supposed to be decended from him. He, so I've been told through the family stories was to have been King Williams right hand man. There is a statue erected in Shaftsburry square in Belfast(not sure of the spelling) My mother has seen the statue and she says the plaque reads: Samuel Holt. The Black man.Apparently this man did Williams nasty work. I have not been able to come up with any info on him to date. was wondering if maybe his name is mentioned in the book.and any info it might have about him.
Thanks.
