in reply to your inquiry this is taken out of the monroe cty ohio history:

david kinkade arrived in monroe county about 1813 settline near woodsfield. he was the son of john and polly(davis) kinkade of penna and the grandson of johnn and jane(?)
osbornn, they were the parents of 10 children : john, aaron, david, mary, sarah, phoebe, christina, rebecca, secrist, andrewb 12may 1802 green co.,pa. married in monroe county, anne square tingley. b. ca. 1800 d/0 ebenezer and deborah(marsh) tingley. andrew kinkade moved to marr, bethel twp., where he died 30 nov 188l, his wife died ca 1860. they were the parents of 8 children: ebenezer stansberry (1826-1905), rebecca (1825-1906)married andrew cronin,david(1830-1890)benjamin(1832-1910)araunah(1834-1911),rachel(1837-1911,andrew(1840-1865),deborah (1842-1931).

my g-grandmother was rebeca kinkade she married aaron mccurdy they moved to then to marietta ohio she died in 1879 and is buried in oakgrove cemetery, marietta oh

if you are researching the kinkade family be careful because there are two davids and two rebecas. l thought l would never get it straight.

david died sometime around 1830-40 cannot find out anything on him yet been looking for some time.

are you a kinkade?

if l can help you further you can e-mail me at

bye for now
