I am trying to reconstruct the list of 154 settlers who traveled from Hardy CO VA (now the area of Grant CO WVA) to Illinois in 1797 with Reverend David Badgley. The surname KINKADE has been associated with this migration but I have been unable to identify a specific family or individuals. If you know of any KINKADES who lived in Hardy, Hampshire, or Pendleton COs in the 1780's or 1790's then later were in Illinois (possibly Monroe or St. Clair CO but other counties are possible) I would love to hear about them.
