Our great, grandparents are Archibald Kinloch and Ann Davie but they are related through both parents.
Archibald's parents are Archibald Kinloch and Christian Davie and Ann's parents are George Davie and Mary Kinloch.
Hence we are well endowed with a double dose of Kinloch and Davie genes. It doesn't appear to have caused too much drama.

I don't know how closely they are related but Cardross was a small community in those days.
