My interest in David Kinloch lies in a different direction.
My gggg grandmother named Burnett (first name unknown)went to work as a servant girl for David Kinloch. (This is according to family oral history).
While employed the Burnett girl became pregnant. She gave birth to a son John in 1794.
No marriage took place. A brief entry in church records show a John Burnett born In Fettercairn district of Kincardine. Witness present was a James Burnett. No parents were named.
As Garvoch lies midway between Fettercairn and Auchenblae it would make it a likely location.
As your records show Mrs. Kinloch (Crab) was busy having her own children.
Who can tell what might have happened ?
As you can tell I am attempting to see if David Kinloch is my true ancestor.
I am currently doinga 37 marker DNA paternal test to see who may match up. Possibly a Kinloch.
