John: I know some of the history of why Kinloch was changed to Kinglake. It is related to the Jacobite rebellion of 1745 and how after the Kinloch brothers were arrested and trialed they escaped the death penalty. Unfortunately I am not part of that branch of the Kinloch family. If you want to know any more, please let me know.
