This is what the person that went to the cemetery wrote on the site. This is in Plainfield,Ct.
Heres one for you history buffs.Along side the river, on the plainfield side of the Canterbury bridge just off rt 14,there is a small grave site with these stones,three remain read about for the most part,seems to have couple more but not sure.This one reads :
In memory of Mr. Nathaniel Kinne who was drowned crossing the quinebuag( spelling) river april 8 1807,in the 31 yr of his age.
another smaller flat one in front that reads Nathaniel son of Mr Nathaniel &Mrs Polly Kinne, died June 16th,1804,to the right of these is one that says David Kinne,died Feb 1808,at 72 years of age.I have often wondered about this little site.Anyone feel like digging abit.
