Your mention of Edinburgh caught my interest. My grandfather, John Kinnear is from there as far as I can tell. He came from a large family but the only name I can come up with is a brother Jim who eventually moved to Kelowna British Columbia in Canada. My grandfather married Ann Finnigan who comes from Gali Shields (Unsure of spelling). She is also from a large family but do not know any names of brothers or sisters. My grandfather John and his wife Ann moved to Canada shortly after WW1. I will attempt to obtain dates of births for both. Not sure if you would have any information on their families or not, but if you do, I would appreciate info on them.
