My G-G-G-Grandfather, John Kinnear, was born in Omagh, Co., Tyrone, Ireland in 1784. I believe he emigrated to Lonsdale, Tynediaga Co., Ontario around 1840? He was a farmer. He died Sept, 11, 1879. I know he had at least one son, John Kinnear, 1825-1908. He also farmed at Lonsdale. He married* Eliza Garrett and had 10 children from 1856-78, one of them, James Wellington 1874-1957, a dentist from Belleville, Ontario was my G-Grandfather.
Any info re. Omagh contection would be appreciated.

Jeff Kinnear

*I suspect there may have been a different spouse/mother
for the first 6 children born 1856-1864.
