Kristin:
Supposedly the KINNEAR family came from Fife, Scotland to Leitrim Co. Ireland. Contact me at my email address below if you want information from the KINNEAR book.

In trying to find when my Robert Kinnear and wife[cousin] Nancy Kinnear came to America I found the following for some of the Kinnears, which did not include Robert.

Venango Co. PA Naturalizations in Centre County in 1803 Taken from Centre County Heritage, published by Centre Co. PA Historical Society...
Henry KINNEAR, native of Ireland, came to U.S. in 1785, sponsor John Dunlop, Naturalized 18 Jan 1803.
Andrew KINNEAR, native of Ireland, came to U. S. 1791, sponsor Henry KINNEAR; Naturalized 18 Jan 1803.
William KINNEAR, native of Ireland, came to U. S. 1792, sponsor Henry KINNEAR; Naturalized same date.
George SIGGINS, native of Ireland, came to U. S. 1791, sponsor Henry KINNEAR; Naturalized same date.
Thomas KINNEAR, native of Ireland, came to U. S. 1795, sponsor William KINNEAR; Naturlized same date.
