Hi Colleen,
I am also doing a family search on the Kinnear line.
I wounder if you could help me in anyway. My greatgrandfather is Stewart Kinnear and the last time I am able to pinpoint him is in the 1891 census from Dundee, Scotland. I know my grandmother and at least some of the children came to Canada as I have information on there deaths and have located the burial ground. He was born in Scotland and was married twice. His first wife was Mary Ann Webster and she only lived for 6 months and died from heart problems. His second wife was Annie McDonald and they were married 16, March 1877 and I have been able to track at least 7 children. There oldest boy James and the youngest son William both died in 1891 befor they came to Canada. It seems that all of there history is in the County of Angus.
