Hi,

I have a Mary Kinnear in my family tree from Angus, Scotland.

It was practice to give the mother's maiden name to some of the children from her marriage.

This practice was followed in our family. My father is named Stewart Kinnear McLean, his mother was Jessie Kinnear who's parents were James Kinnear brother of Mary Kinnear who's parents were James Kinnear and Margaret Stewart.

Please contact me with any information you may have and I will gladly supply you with additional information and dates.
