I, too, am looking for a Kinnear connection in Ontario. My great grandfather was Robert Nelson Kinnear born i 1852 in Osprey Twp, Grey County. He married Isabella McCutcheon on December 30, 1874. Isabella McCutcheon was bown in 1854 in Mono Twp, Dufferin County, Ontario.

This place known as Kinnears Mills really has my curiosity for a couple of reasons: one: Isabella' father, Henry McCutcheon was born near Kinnears Mills. Also, how did it get it's name?

I don't have much more definate information except that I think that Robert Nelson's parents were William Kinnear and Mary Telford, and we suspect that they also had a son, Adam. If any of this rings a bell, I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you. Bev Flinn
