Charlotte, There is a VERY STRONG POSSIBILITY that this is the same family. As I mentioned, I have no documentation to prove how many brothers or sisters Robert Nelson Kinnear had. I only know from other research sources that Robert Nelson's parents were William and Mary. I believe that Telford was Mary's maiden name. My Mom got this and the fact that there was a son Adam from the insert of a family bible.
The other reason I believe that there is a strong conntection are two reasons: 1. Robert N. Kinnear and Isabella his wife moved from Ontario to Readlyn Saskatchewan and ran a store there. They ran a store in Maxwell, Ontario prior to going to Saskatchewan. Secondly, I searched www.archives.ca and found under landgrants and found a Robert N. Kinnear. Robert J. Kinnear (son) William Henry Kinnear (R.N.'s son also) and an Adam. They were all in the same area. So I wondered if Adam wasn't related but went back to Ontario. Who did Ruth marry. The other strong sense of this being correct is the fact that Verwood is only about 20-3- miles from Readlyn. I may have to get an order of microfilm and research further the landgrants. This is all I know at this time. Was Adam buried at Maxwell by any chance. Please feel free to write me at flinn@telusplanet.net Thanks Bev Flinn
