Joseph Kinnear Crossmacahilly 1859

Greetings from New Zealand
I am trying to find any information about Joseph Kinnear for a very dear friend who is aged 92. He was her great grandfather and all we know is that his daughter Elizabeth Jane Kinnear married Richard Walker in the Parish of Knoxknamuckley, Seagoe on 18 April 1859. I have purchased their marriage certificate which tells us that Joseph was a farmer from Crossmacahilly and I have also found him on Griffiths valuation.
Elizabeth and Richard came to New Zealand with Richard's brother, Thomas in October 1860 on the "Northern Bride"
My friend, Grace would not have been very old when her grandmother died but remembers her as an old lady in bed with a frilly cap on.
We would love to know the name of Elizabeth's mother and if there were any siblings.
Elizabeths occupation on her marriage record is given as farmer - would that have been common for a woman of 22 in those days?
Regards
Heather Maloney
