Hi was very interested on your mention of old fims of Tayport,i am researching for my aunt Isabella Kinnear Ritchie born in Wormit in 1921.
Ella came to Australia with her parents, Charles Langlands Ritchie and Margaret Fowler Leslie in 1922, Margarets mother was Isabella Kinnear,
Margaret died in 1927 leaving Charles with three litte girls, after a few years the girls were placed in Cheltenham Methodist girls home and given to different families.Ella never saw her sisters again.
I know her Kinnear family came from Tayport,Fife and Dundee,St Andrews areas.
i have tried for years to trace ella's sisters without luck so now am trying to give her as much on her family history as i can,she is thrilled with what i have found so far.
Please if you get a copy of the old fims of the area could i perhaps buy a copy from you to send to my aunt,it would be very much appreciated.
I will look up on all i have on her ancestors and will post later to see if we have a connection.
Kind regards Edna
