Kinnears from Clontibret, Co. Monaghan, Ireland

Data sent to me illustrates the very strong links between this part of Ireland & that of Boone County, Nerbraska, where Exiles from Legnacreeve & Braddox Presbyterian Churches settled in the mid 1800s & later. Not only did they found a Church & Community, they adopted many of the Clontibret placenames & even encouraged a Rev Patterson from Clontibret to emigrate there. The Records of these two churches are now on CD & enable accurate searches to be made of the family history of both Boone County & Clontibret. I can be contacted directly at for more data
