Ann Kinnear, Born Ireland
Posted by: Jen Sirius (ID *****9747) Date: August 25, 2010 at 03:52:00

Hello

I am hoping that someone can help me to trace Ann Kinnear, born between 1836 and 1844 (according to her census details). She states that she was born in Ireland on the census returns, and in her marriage certificates, her father is named as James Kinnear, labourer.

Ann married twice, firstly to James Quirk, in the Roman Catholic church, Leeds, in 1864. She had two children with him, then a further 2 children between his death in 1869 and her second marriage in 1878. I am the gt. granddaughter of her daughter Mary Quirk, born in 1872. She married Michael Grogan as her second husband, and had a another daughter, Bridget.

I am not sure exactly where in Ireland she was born, so if anyone can advise me, I would like to hear from them.

Thank you,
Jen Barker
