KINNEAR in PA & Ohio

I am looking for any further info on Mary Jane Kinnear (b.1842). I know she was descended from Kinnears who emigrated from Scotland to Ireland, and thence to America in 1790s. Mary Jane was married to Jacob Walters (b.abt. 1844) in the late 1860s, supposedly in Franklin County Ohio, but the local court has no record of this. I found some info in "Kinnear & Their Kin" but I am stuck for anything further.

Also, I believe her ggggrandfather James Kinnear emigrated from Fife to Ireland c.1682, but not verified. Anyone know how I can check this out? All my info is from "Kinnear and Kin," but I don't know how reliable it is. Any ideas?
