June:
I have birth information for Elizabeth Lawless b. 1807 m. to Thomas in 1827. Elizabeth's parents were David Lawless and Catherine Kean. It would appear from dates that your David was Elizabeth Lawless's brother and Elisabeth Kinsella was the above Thomas's sister.
The time line seems correct. Thomas and Elizabeth (Lawless) Kinsella landed in NYC in 1847, moved to Baldwinsville and remained until 1857 when they moved to Illinois. It seems logical that Elizabeth's brother, (married to Thomas's sister) follow.
I also have info showing Charles and Mary Kinsella as witnesses to Thomas Kinsella & Elizabeth Lawless' marriage. A brother? I have James North's book.
