Peter, My gg grandfather was Lawrence Kinsella, born 1820 somewhere in Wexford Co. He came to Missouri in 1860 or thereabouts because we have his marriage record to Bridgett Dooley. They married at the Old Cathedral in St. Joseph in 1860. On their document it listed his parents as Thomas and Ellen Devereaux (sp)?? Kinsella. I wonder if they could be related to your Kinsella's. We have always wanted to find out who our ancestors are in Ireland, but have not been able to determine exactly where they lived in Wexford. Your James may have been an uncle.
