Hi Georgia: The Gahans that I'm researching came from County Wexford, immigrating to New York State approx. in 1895. They were Bridget, Ann, Helen (Nellie), and John.
Bridget married a Kelly and they resided in Marcellus Falls, N.Y. Ann supposedly returned to Ireland; I recently found that Nellie lived in the Syracuse, N.Y. area. In 1910 she was a sponsor at a baptism; and John went to Philadelphia. I really haven't very much to go on as I live in Maine and far removed from Upper N.Y. State. Then there were siblings in Ireland: Nicholas, Frances or Francis, Mary and a Morris or Maurice. Haven't been very successful so far.
