My husband and I are trying to research his Kinsella branch and I find it interesting that the same surnames keep appearing. My husband's Great Grandfather was a John Kinsella whose first wife was a Bridget Redmond. He lived in Brooklyn, New York when he came over from Ireland supposedly in 1850 when he was around 10. We do know they came from County Wexford in Ireland. He and Bridget had quite a few children with names like: Daisy, Nelly, Agnes....... Then she died (the wife Bridget) and he remarried and moved to Washington D.C. and had more children there.
Guess the Redmonds and Kinsellas were all from the same place in Ireland and kept marrying each other.
Anyone out there know anything?
