Dear Joseph,
That spreadsheet and cross-index sound fantastic. Our source when we were there was the former pastor, Canon John Gahan who died suddenly in December of 2000. He was an incredible historian of the area. I wonder if it is his work which allowed the index. I imagine one would have to go there to access it. Did you find any information re: its presence anywhere else (i.e. the net, etc?)?
By any chance in your search did you find the siblings of Elizabeth Lawless? A letter from Canon Gahan in 1999 tells us she had a brother James born July 7, 1798 and a sister Mary born July 21, 1804. Some Lawless cousins and I are trying to find if she had a brother David, since her father's name was David. If so, this would open a flood of information from that side because James Kinsella, your Michael's brother, and the NY Kinsellas were very close. James went back on the train at the age of 80 to visit his cousins. They had gone to school in NY together as boys.
I have found descendants of James Kinsella from the Finnell line in IL. I am looking for others.
Thanks again,
Eleanor
