ARTIST: Kinsella (1951 - 1988)

Approximately a dozen years ago on Christmas Day, a large Midwestern newspaper printed a half-page copy of the inspirational painting entitled, "The Laughing Christ," by Jack Kinsella. (1951 - 1988).

Jesus -- laughing!
I fell in love with this wonderful painting; and, after a determined search, was able to find a small, inexpensive print. ("The Laughing Christ" is still one of my favorite paintings; and, the small print is displayed where I can readily see it -- on my computer desk!).

My internet searches to locate the 'history' of this painting; and, the man who created it, have been unsuccessful.

Would anyone have additional information about the artist (whose surname was Kinsella) who created this inspirational work-of-art? To which Kinsella line did he belong?

Peace & blessings,

Cathy Porter-Maynard (In Minnesota)
