OBITUARY From the Fort Covington Sun of August 4, 1892:

DIED: At his residence In Bombay, July 7th, 1892, after a lingering illness, John Kinsella, brother of the late William C. Kinsella of Brooklyn, N. Y., aged 77 years 8 months and 20 days. Deceased was born in county Carlow, •eland, in 1815 ; emigrated to America with his parents in 1828, and settled in the township of Dundee, with whom he lived until 1836. In that year he married Bridget Kinsela, of Bombay, where his sorrowing widow still survives him, and started on the bright sunny pathway of life. In that town he settled on the farm upon which he died. There was born unto them fifteen children, seven of whom are still living, and all were present to pay the last tribute of respect to a dear departed father. They comprise Michael H., who lives on the homestead; Mrs. James McQueen, of Westville; Mrs. Abe Bradley, of Hogansburgh; Mrs. Thomas Brennan, Cornwall, Ont ; Mrs. Michael Reardon, Fort Covngton ; Mrs. Wm. Quain, of Bombay ; Mrs. James Lahey, of Fort Covington.
Deceased has been in failing health for many years, although by good care and careful attention of a devoted wife and affectionate children he seemed to
enjoy life as well as most people in perfect health, and often spoke of the pleasure he enjoyed to see his family meet together around him. But his genial
mild ways, kind voice and loving smiles is hushed in death forever more, and when the grim messenger set its grasp upon him he yielded up his spirit to the
maker and said " God's will be done".
