I am sorry, perhaps I was misunderstood; but at this time, I do not know what my ties are for the Kinsella's in Iowa. A great-aunt said that she knew we were "related to the Iowa Kinsella's - they're the OLD Kinsella family".

I am posting in this forum in hopes that someone else might be able to match up with some of my info and we could help one another in our genealogical journey.

If you know any possible relation to my information (posted previous & again below) I would enjoy hearing from you to compare & share info.

Sincerely, PB

I have a John Kinsella married 1846 Olygate/Oylgate, County Wexford, IRELAND to a Margaret Brian (both born in Ireland) but had children born in England: Richard, William, Arthur, and Mary are the ones I am aware of. They all came to America 1854, were in Pearl City, New Dublin, and Dixon Illinois. Richard moved to Greeley County, NE, and Arthur lived there also for a few years, moving back to IL. Do any of these names sound familiar??? Richard married Agnes Cassiah Cecil( IN raised in Iowa)in Columbus, NE in 1874, they had 11 children. Mary married Peter Doyle, died in IL, they had several children - John, Bart & William are only names known though. More on Richard, as that is my line...
