Hi Justin

Delighted to read your message. My gt gt grandfather was either Patrick or John Greene of Knockgreany. Both were evicted from Coolgreany in the 1887 evictions. Ballyfad and Newtown, on the OS maps, are in the same area. The family spread far and wide after this and some of my side ended up in New Ross in a very sad state, some went to Australia, others to England. I know a John Greene ended up in Dublin with a livery stable. Their son Daniel married Bridget Byrne my great grandparents-one of their sons Patrick married Lizzy Browne-my grandparents .

They were all very into horses. Are you of the same family.
