Hmmm...maybe your Patrick (the father) and my Gerald could be brothers or cousins?

Gerald Kinsella m. Bridget "Biddy" Collins abt 1829 in Leighlinbridge

their children:

Ann Kinsella 1832 after 1901? (emig. to USA then returned-there is a 70 yr old spinster Ann Kinsella in the 1901 census in Leighlinbridge)
Mary Kinsella 1841 -1904 (my gggrandmother, emig. to USA)
James Kinsella 1843
Joanna Kinsella 1846
Patrick Kinsella 1849

The place names "Madlin" and "Ballinolan" also show up on the children's christening records that I got online

I checked out your photos of Leighlinbridge and they are beautiful! Thanks for sharing with me. Too bad there are no more Kinsella in Leighlinbridge. My Mary Kinsella married a Patrick Doyle in Leighlinbridge in Feb. 1865 and five months later had my ggrandfather, Denis Doyle. I have no info on Patrick Doyle's birth or parents.
