Thomas Kinsella was born Ireland 1832. He became the Editor and owner of the "Brooklyn Eagle Newspaper".
He was a Democrat and was elected to the 42nd Congress 1871-1873
Wife #1: Elizabeth and daughters, Hannah sp. Robert Payne, Frances sp ? Douglas Robinson, Margaret, Lousia, and Kate

big scandel in Brooklyn when Mr. Kinsella took up with married woman Mrs. Fields. Than Mr Kinsella gets divorced. Mr. Fields sues Mr. Kinsella. and divorces his wife.
Wife# 2 Emeline Van Siclen (nee Field)

Mr. Kinsella Feb 1884. story goes he is on death bed calls for a priest and is told he cannot go to heaven or forgiven for his sin of adultry. so to fix this he calls wife #2 to his bedside and tells her to pack up and get out. Then he summonds for Wife # 1 and his daughters to his bedside. where they stay til his death. and they inherit all his money.

Thomas dies Feb 1884
and Wife #1 Elizabeth dies at the home of her son-In=Law Col. Robert Payne in Brooklyn May 1884

Now with such a colorful family....Where are they and is anybody out there decendents of them...I can't find any info on his daughters and their families....Mystery.
