I would like to find more information about this line of the Kinsella family. I have done some research on Father Hore's Migration, leading 1300 Irish immigrants to the Midwest. While I believe our Laurence Kinsella, born 1820 near Gorey, is of the same family group as the James Kinsella who sailed to New Orleans with Fr. Hore's group, I don't believe he came with that group. We have evidence that our Laurence Kinsella sailed from Dublin to New York in 1851, then went to New Orleans where he worked as a plasterer before making his way to St. Joseph, MO via the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
