Mr. Howard: I am a granddaughter of Helen Alice Howard, daughter of William Edward Howard, Son of George Lee Howard, Jr. and Maryann Kinsler. By using your message, from 1998, I have found some stuff you may already have. . . 1840 Fed Census, Monroe County, Illinois listed Philip, between 20-30 yrs old, wife same age, one daughter and one son, both born between 1835-1840. In 1850 Philip and Cecila are in St louis. It shows he is 27 yr & she was 33, both born in Germany. It shows John, 11 yr and Marian 3 yr both born in Missouri. The 1840 census would indicate one older girl not listed in 1850 but the 1850 should show maryann as 7-8 yrs old. Do you have any more to add or subtract from this?
My next rude question is "How are we related?"Thank you for your efforts. Debbie
