I have a Kinsler relative living east of St. Louis in the 1840-70. Her name was Mary Ann Kinsler b: 1 Jan 1842. Her parents died in a Cholera epidemic. Their names were Phillip and Ceilia Kinsler. They also had a son named John. Our family's verbal history says Mary was kidnapped at age 6 by a Dr. Fitch and taken to Decks Ferry (Prairie?). She did not see any of her family until years later when she was rejoined by her brother John.
