Researching Thomas Kinsler born 1784 Maryland. Thomas married Patience Chadd/Shadd in 1810 Bourbon County, Kentucky, daughter of Samuel Chadd/Shadd. They were living in Barren County, Kentucky in 1820, moved to Putnam County, Indiana by 1840. Seven know children born to this union, James Kinsler married Elizabeth Vice, Emily Kinsler married William McKinley, Jane Kinsler married John McKinley, William Kinsler married Mary Ann Flinn the first time, and Eliza Brown the 2nd marriage (my line), Sarah Kinsler married Samuel Chadd, America Kinsler married(first)George Vice, 2nd David Chadd, and Mary Kinsler married John Flinn,Jr.
Thomas died 1851 in Putnam County, Indiana, his wife Patience died April 1841.Thomas was married 3 times, 2nd to Rebecca Reeves and 3rd to Ellen Clark.
Have found the Kinsler name spelled as Kinslow in some records. One source had a Thomas Kinsler/Kinslow, born about 1750, London, England, as the father of Thomas. He came to America 1775 and settled in Maryland.
Any information on this family would be appreciated. Willing to share info.
