Hi Brenda,
Thanks for your reply. I am excited to know that other family members are researching our history. I am just getting started with my research. However, the brief dialogue with you and Charlie has already bridged some gaps for me.

My great grandfather was Jim/James Kinsler and my grandfather was Hinton, Sr. My brief research shows the Kinslers in Ocala, Fl. dating back to early 1889. My mother and aunt agrees there was talk of the family coming from South Carolina. As for now I am relying on the wealth of "word of mouth" knowledge that my mother and aunt has.

I think it is great that you are coming to South Carolina in the Spring. I live in Pooler, GA. ten minutes from South Carolina. I would love to come over and meet you.

Does the South Carolina group have family reunions? The Florida group had a reunion planned for Labor Day weekend in Miami, but it was postpone because of hurricane Frances.

If you have any questions about the Ocala group let me know and I will research it for you.

Your Cuz,
