Regarding "Hugh Kinselo," please go to <> and click on "Kincheloe Origins." At the end of that long essay on family origins I have included an appendix on "Hugh Kinselo." Please look at & copy the documentation for this appendix & include that in your records. In that appendix I relate what I discovered when I set out to verify the earliest "Hugh Kinselo" records. I was very disappointed to discover that there is no original record for any "Hugh Kinselo" -- the records cited for him are for another individual whose name is Kunneloe. This name does not resemble any of the early spellings of our family name. Looks to me like someone was fudging on Hugh. They fudged on "Hugh's" wife, too. She is recorded as "Haey" not "Haley." The county McPherson lists is wrong, too. Nothing about the "Hugh Kinselo" records bear up to basic scrutiny. Please go to the website above, read the appendix, and draw your own conclusions. I have concluded that there never was a "Hugh Kinselo." It was all just bad or wishful genealogy. We have to go to the original records, Cousins. LDS records are loaded with unverified information -- question your sources! Get solid proof!
