John, a while after posting the above message in February 1999, I visited your website and thought it was excellent. After reading about your research, I have to agree that there must have been some "wishful genealogy" going on when "Hugh Kinselo" and "Marion Haley" were added to the Kincheloe family tree.

In my posting to Genforum in February 1999, I DID specify that I had no documentation of "Hugh Kinselo" and that it was not my research, and I DID specify that my only source was an LDS family history file. I understand that sources such as these must be scrutinized, but many times they do give us a great place to start when trying to document our ancestor's names. LDS records have led me in the right direction more than once.
