William Jasper Kinslow was probably the son of Jasper William Kinslow b. 1838 in Dickson Co. TN. He was in the Civil War Archives: Box 000539, Record 00002896, Roll 0049. His brothers/sisters are: Elizabeth b. 1834 Dickson County, TN, d. est. 1872, Ill. m. 10/6/1853, William H. Chapman; John Adams Kinslow b. 9/1/1836, d. 10/31/1913, m. Tennessee Chaudoin 1855, m. Susan A. Smith 1862; Robert N. Kinslow b. abt 1840 Dickson Co. TN. d. est. 1872, m. Ellen V.Sibeman 11/2/1865; Thomas Allen Kinslow b. 1843 Dickson Co. TN, d. est. 1873, m. Johnson Co. Ill. 1/5/1865 Elizabeth Cumbey; Clark Larkin Kinslow b. 1844 Dickson Co. TN, d. est 1873, m. Snn M. McGowen, Johnson Co. Ill.; Morgian Kinslow, b. 1848. Jasper William Kinslow's father was William E. Kinslow b. 1800 TN, d. 10/17/1847, m. Phoebe M. Van De Waters 4/1/1832, Dickson Co. TN. Phoebe's parents were John Van De Waters and Elizabeth Meeker. She was born 2/4/1817 in NY or NJ and died 1/28/1908 at Maud, Pottawatomie Co. OK. She had other spouses after William's death: Vincent Carter and Isham Dunn. Other postings from B. D. Wood, Jeff Kinslow and Dale Kinslow will all be from your family. James Monroe Kinslow was the eldest son of John Adams Kinslow.
